Melbourne Cup Day

Today was a holiday and I really enjoyed having some time to colour with my Copics. My husband was away for business and my stepson on holidays so I had the house to myself and no-one to take up my time.
I stamped my images and then sat and coloured for most of the day.  Oh the bliss of not being interrupted. The excitement of planning what I was going to do with the images. The day went too fast and now it is back to work tomorrow. Oh well tomorrow night I can  start making a new card. I just need to work out which image to use......

My First Tilda

This is my first Tilda. She is cute and maybe I will get over her not having a face.  She is also a little tomboy dressed up as a pirate. Stamps by Magnolia

Sugar Nellie

Isn't this  a beautiful stamp. It's called Daisy and is by Sugar Nellie. I coloured it in with Copic markers, added some black diamenties and framed it with Martha Stewart loops.

Baby Card

Recently a friend from work had her little baby boy William. I have been looking for a special stamp to make her a card. At the Paperific Expo I saw just the thing, a stamp by Stamping Bella called Toby is Two. I just love the little tantrum he is having. While I don't wish this upon my friend I know she will see the funny side to it. I also used my Martha Stewart punches Optic dots and Deco Fan.

Paperific Expo

On Sunday  I went to the Melbourne Paperific Expo. This Expo gets better each time. There were lots of fantastic stalls selling beautiful stamps and papercrafting tools. A couple of the stalls had discounts if you bought more than 2 items. I made use of this buying Martha Stewart punches. Have I told everyone that I love Martha Stewart punches! This time I bought Punch around the Page punches and they are fantastic. You will see them in many of my cards that I will be posting in the future. I also added to my Copic Markers. These are very addictive and expensive. They are really fantastic and do a great job colouring in. I was unsure if I liked Tilda stamps by Magnolia but I did buy some and have really enjoyed colouring them in with my Copics. I would really like to do a Copic class. There were classes at the Expo but unfortunately they were all booked out when I found out about them. Come on someone from Melbourne start a Copic class.

New Home

This was a fun card that I made for a house warming.  When you open the door there is a message inside. I used a co-ordinations paper that is brown on the outside and blue on the inside.

Shirt Card

I found the pattern for this card on utube. It is a pattern from Splitcoast stampers and I used some  paper that I had from Stampin Up. You need double sided paper for this card..
It is really a cute card.

Bon Voyage

Holidays are always a good reason to send a card. I had some stickers that had travel sayings and so I thought that I would use them on this card. I cut the word holiday from my Slice Think Pink card. I just love the font.

My Craft Room

I absolutely love my craft room.It is a place that I can relax and  be creative and forget myself for a few hours. There are lots of things that I still would love to own. At the moment I am really into Matha Stewart punches, and I just love my hanger for my punches. My husband put these up for me after we bought them in Ikea, they were so cheap. There are lots of things to buy in Ikea that are fantastic for scrapbooking rooms.

Kids Cards

This is such a cute stamp. It is from Kaszazz. I coloured the girls in with watercolours. Then added a Kaszazz Happy Birthday stamp and some Prima flowers and a Kaisercraft pearl.

60th Birthday

My girlfriends husband is turning 60 so I thought that I would make him a card. Making cards for men is sometimes difficult, but I have this stamps that comes in handy because most men like a drink of wine.
The stamps is from Inkadinkado. I cut the 60 out with my Think Pink slice card. I really love the way that you can cut the shadow. The paper was from Kaisercraft .
